Background
Frank has more than 50 years of public accounting and nonprofit expertise. He has a deep understanding of nonprofit organizational best practice financial functions and operations, and has served a wide variety of nonprofit entities. Frank previously was Partner-in-Charge Not-for-Profit and Higher Education Practices at a top 30 national accounting firm and held similar roles at two international CPA firms. His expertise includes financial reporting and analysis, investments, internal controls, endowments, and grants management. As the firm’s Quality Assurance Director, he provides oversight to all functions of internal quality assurance, including continuing professional education, systems and processes, and monitoring and implementing new technical standards.

As a nationally recognized nonprofit thought leader, Frank frequently writes and speaks on a range of nonprofit and higher education topics. He has conducted internal firm training and spoken at various nonprofit and higher education industry groups, including the AICPA National Not-for-Profit Entities Conference, AICPA not-for-profit webinars, and several state CPA society conferences. Frank has also served on various boards, including Y-Me National Breast Cancer Organization, Foundation for Hearing and Speech Rehabilitation, and Associated Colleges of Illinois.
