Background

Emily joined CapinCrouse in 2009, after nine years with a Big Four accounting firm. She provides audit, review, and non-attest services to various nonprofit entities, including colleges and universities, mission organizations, and relief and development organizations. Her area of expertise is employee benefit plans, and she serves as the firm’s Employee Benefit Plan Services Director. Emily is responsible for collaborating with the audit team to develop an effective audit strategy, participating in the performance of audit procedures, and supervising teams. She provides guidance and expertise to ensure our clients receive the highest quality of service.

Emily attends the AICPA National Employee Benefit Plans Conference every year, and develops training for both internal and external audiences. She also volunteers with Girl Scouts of Central Indiana and is a Gold Award recipient.
