FTC Amends GLBA Safeguards Rule to Require Data Security Breach Reporting

The Federal Trade Commission has added an amendment to the Safeguards Rule of the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (GLBA). The new amendment requires non-banking institutions to report certain data breaches and security events to the FTC. Learn more >

Department of Education Amends Certain Title IV Regulations

The U.S. Department of Education has made amendments to the regulations implementing Title IV of the Higher Education Act of 1965, as amended.
