- Service Release Available for EDExpress for Windows 2024–25, Release 1.0 to Resolve ISIR Import Issue – All higher education institutions should have received some ISIRs by now. If your institution has not, the issue explained in this announcement may be the cause.
- FSA Electronic Announcement GENERAL-24-23, Secretary of Education, Miguel Cardona Letter to Presidents, Chancellors, and CEOs on 2024-25 FAFSA Processing Updates – This announcement has a link to the March 15, 2024, U.S. Department of Education (ED) letter emailed to leadership at all higher education institutions to provide FAFSA updates.
- Bipartisan Senators Urge ED to Delay Gainful Employment and Financial Value Transparency Reporting – This National Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators (NASFAA) article discusses a letter a bipartisan group of senators sent to ED urging it to delay institutional gainful employment (GE) and financial value transparency reporting deadlines to give institutions more time amid the rollout of the 2024-25 FAFSA. These deadlines are currently set to go into effect on July 1, 2024.
