Perkins Loan Deadline Extended
On May 4, 2022, the U.S. Department of Education (ED) Federal Student Aid office issued updated guidance that extends the deadline for mandatory assignment of Federal Perkins Loans in default for more than two years to June 30, 2023. The deadline was originally set for June 30, 2022.
