IRS Releases Updated 2018 Withholding Tables

The IRS has released Notice 1036 with updated income tax withholding tables for 2018. The updated tables account for changes made by the new tax bill enacted at the end of 2017.

The IRS stated that employers should begin using the 2018 withholding tables as soon as possible, but no later than February 15, 2018. Many employees will start to see changes in their paychecks in February.
