Thank you for giving us the opportunity to serve you as you serve others. We are grateful to work alongside organizations like yours that are changing lives every day.

Serving nonprofits has been our focus and mission for more than 45 years. We want to let you know about some changes that will help us continue to build on that foundation and empower nonprofits in the decades ahead.

Gregory B. Capin will retire as a partner of the firm on December 31, 2018. Gregg has dedicated his talents and heart to helping the firm and our nonprofit clients operate with integrity since 1979, and currently serves as Partner, Chairman, and Interim CEO. Gregg is a trusted industry leader and has helped to define and carry out the vision and mission of CapinCrouse.

Highlights of his distinguished career include service on the ECFA Standards Committee, the ECFA Religious Organizations Accounting Committee (which he chairs), the AICPA Not-for-Profit Organizations Committee, the FASB Not-for-Profit Advisory Committee, and more.

We truly appreciate all that Gregg has done for CapinCrouse and our industry. He will continue to serve as an advisor to the firm.

Fran Brown will become Managing Partner on January 1, 2019. He currently serves as Partner and Professional Practice Leader – Attest. Fran has more than 30 years of experience providing audit and management consulting services to a variety of nonprofit entities, including colleges and universities, and has served the firm and our clients with dedication and distinction.

Fran previously led the New England Higher Education and Not-for-Profit Practice at Grant Thornton and was partner-in-charge of the not-for-profit practice at CCR LLP.

He is a frequent speaker at seminars, workshops, and conferences, and serves as a board member of several organizations.

Our focus on serving nonprofits will remain the same, as will our mission to be empowered professionals providing innovative service to organizations whose outcomes are measured in lives changed.

We are committed to the success of our nonprofit clients’ life-changing work and that vision will continue to guide us each step of the way.

Thank you again for the opportunity to serve alongside you. Happy Thanksgiving!
