CapinTech Cyber Series: Data Management: Developing a Strategy for Success

print
Managing data was much more straightforward in the past, when organizations supported their own software and infrastructure internally and data never left the confines of their internal network. However, with evolving reliance on cloud providers and the increase in remote and hybrid work as a result of the pandemic, data management has only become more complex. This free webcast will discuss the continued challenges with data management in our evolving work environments and will review baseline controls and advanced protections to help you successfully manage and secure your data, regardless of its location.

Attendees can earn up to 1.0 hour of Continuing Professional Education (CPE) credit. [CPE: Information Technology]

Learning Objectives:

  • Describe the challenges related to data management that arise in remote working environments and from reliance on cloud providers
  • Evaluate baseline data management controls that typically should be in place for all organizations, regardless of where that data is located
  • Discuss advanced protections that can be implemented to support more robust data management
  • Apply knowledge of suggested practices and controls within your organization
