CapinCrouse to Expand Nonprofit Cybersecurity Expertise with Addition of Traina & Associates
We are very pleased to announce that Traina & Associates, a national information security audit and consulting firm, will join CapinCrouse effective January 1, 2017.
The merger will allow us to provide our nonprofit clients with a broad range of information security consulting and risk management services. Traina & Associates has been providing these services to clients nationwide since 1999 with nationally recognized expertise, including regulated industries.

Lisa uses her more than 30 years of experience to assist organizations in implementing measures to secure data and manage risks efficiently and effectively. Lisa is a nationally recognized speaker and author, sharing her knowledge with thousands of professionals annually to help them leverage emerging technologies and protect against cybersecurity risks. She was named to CPA Practice Advisor magazine’s Most Powerful Women in Accounting list in 2012.
Lindsey has 12 years’ experience in information security auditing and consulting services for nonprofit organizations, financial institutions, and health facilities. She stays current on changing threats, government regulations, and various organizations’ security frameworks to design audit procedures and better assist clients in implementing appropriate controls to protect against cybersecurity threats. Lindsey speaks on information security topics for various groups, including the AICPA.
